This is coming up for auction this Sunday April 6th. I haven't had a chance to look at it as of yet. I'm just at a lose, as I haven't seen one(Farmall) with power-adjust wheels. I'll see if I can get a look see at it today..

The linkage underneath and the lever and some of the rockshaft is for a two way moldboard plow one left bottom and one right bottom. Mite have been an exhaust lift set-up for the plow.

No sir Glen, definently hydraulic. Hydraulic hoses goes down to where a pto pump was at one time. If you look closely in-around the tank, there is a hydraulic cylinder that was used to raise rear culitvation implements. Kinda a mickey mouse system. Just like cobbling those wheels on it!!

Well, I went and to a close look at this unit, definently mickey-moused the power-adjust wheels on. Welded up some sort of brackets (if you can call it a weld, looks more like grease gun welds)to hold the wheels to the original centers. If the hydraulics run from PTO pump,it is no longer on there. Also decals say Super A, but no factory hydraulics.

Looks pretty neat for a work tractor. Although I don't understand the concept of those types of wheels. They just look "tough" to me.

I wasn't being a snarky small puncture wound... so why are you? I asked an honest question. I have a couple of tractors with power slips and I didn't want to ramble on and asked for a bit of clarification first...

Thank you and please pull forward.

Please pull forward after removing the locking pins for your power adjust wheels :)

Mike, power adjust wheels allow you to quickly adjust your tread width. At least, that's the concept. In practice, they work better than nothing at all, but you do a lot of skidding and jerking the tractor to make the adjustments.
