I'm setting up my H for a hydraulic lift case plow. My tractor is 275 miles away so I need to pickup everything needed. If somebody could give me a list of what I will need( size and length of hoses and type, any fittings I'm going to need)I would appreciate it if you would supply me with this info. Thanks Bob

I think If you add all our replys together you will be on the right track. Most farm and home supplys will have a "bracket" that will bolt to the seat frame or platform. this bracket holds the Pioneer style coupler. Run a hose from this to the outlets on the left side of the tractor (as you are setting in the seat). I can't remember if it is the front or rear outlet. Front I think. One of those left outlets has a delay system in it that allows the rear part of a mounted cultivator to drop slower than the front.

A one way cylinder, or two way with a breather in it. I think someone posted 40" hose from pump to coupler. You could do without the holder bolted to the seat, but if the plow breaks away, like it should if you hit a rock, the the coupler breakways and doesn't ruin a hose. Good luck,,

The cylinder is best if it is a one way design.
Make sure your clevis pins are sized for the plow, or bushed to fit ahead. A breather on the top port of a two way cylinder will make it work just fine one way.
(It is needed to keep out dirt, mud wasps, and water, from entering the top of the cylinder when it is not used) Make sure to get the air out of the cylinder when it is hooked up by putting it lower than all other parts to allow air to escape back into the reservoir, then refill the Liftall when the cylinder is as short as it gets. All I have is the fittings coming out 1 on right 2 on left. The farmer I bought the plow parts from said the cylinder to use is a 3-3 1/2" with 8" stroke. there is no coupler on the tractor.

The outlets on the tractor are 1/2" pipe thread. I have a 40" hose that's threaded into a 90 degree female-female pipe elbow on one of the outlets with a Pioneer connector at the other end. It just lays on the rear axle.

Then get another hose that's long enough to run from the plow cylinder to the rear axle that has a mating pioneer connector at one end and whatever the cylinder has at the other.

Does your pump currently not have anything connected to it?

What type of cylinder are you going to use?

Does the tractor have a coupler on the back for a cylinder?

You may also need a couple of quarts of oil in case it's low.
