We have a 684 with a 2250 loader on it and it has been welded up front on the arms too. It was because my dad rigged up a round bale prong to mount in front of the bucket and we lifted too heavy of bales with it and cracked the center brace by the arms. We had a local welding shop put some braces and weld it up, it looks factory. If you are going to use it like it should be used you should be just fine unless the welds arent very good welds. The 2250 is a very good loader and the 584 is a good loader tractor. The loader is very easy to take off and on.

Hi, to break the weld on a 2250 loader would take some abuse unless it was a factory faulty weld. My brother has a 2250 on a 3230 which is newer version of 584 and the only thing that has shown wear is the bucket.
