Hi, I live in the Penn Yan / Geneva area and I got them from Value Bilt, they came fast and were good quality. They shipped UPS, no box just a label. The rubber is an old standard size, you should look for the cross over to new sizing. There is also a place on 20 on the way to Cobleskill near Sharon Springs that has tons of old tractor equipment and parts. Get in touch if we can be of any further help.

In a place the size of Cortland you must have at least two shops that deal in tractor tires. They'll also be able to supply you with rims. Look in your local yellow pages.

Any savings you realize by going online will be gone as soon as you pay the UPS bill to have stuff this size shipped. It'll cost hundreds to get two tires and two rims trucked halfway across the country. Believe me, I looked into it. Perfect Firestones were $385 each locally, no-name "buffed" blemish tires were $300 from a guy on ebay. Problem with the blems is that it would cost $150+ to truck them to me, and I'd still have to drive 50 miles to go pick them up at the shipping depot in Buffalo. The Firestones were 5 miles away.

That was back when diesel was $2.50 a gallon.

What is the fascination with getting this stuff online? Are people that afraid of dealing with people face-to-face?

I have lived in the Cortland area and have purchased a lot of local stuff for almost my lifetime. I also have been able to understand how people in this town operate. I'm sorry to say that my real request was that I wanted to know where to get them and what size they were for my tractor. I thank everyone for the advise. I'll look and see just what I can come up with. I will most likely get help with repairing the rim I have and running it another 50 years. Thanks again.

I just bought a pair for my Super H from Unverferth. I had to go through a dealer here in Milwaukee. They are nice.

Do a search for Unverferth. They make rims for classic tractors. On their site, you will find a dealer locator. mike

m e miller tire in waeseon ohio will ship you what you need. your tractor more than likely came new with eleven inch wide rims and 12x38 rear tires the new size would be 13.6x38. the old size 13x38 converts to 14.9x38.

Look at the rims you have now, there's either a single wide ridge in the middle of the rim, or two narrower ridges, about 1/3 of the way in on each side.

13-38 is now 14.9-38. 13.6-38 was 12-38.

According to firestone, they require a 12" rim. You can check it out at firestoneag.com Good Luck,
Charles
