Hello gents,

I have ran across a Frgusson tractor that has been identified as a 1952 Feguson 20-85 but I have doughts.

Upon inspection of the tractor I found a nameplate that said "The Massey-Harris Ferguson Tractor Company". This would date it later than 1952 wouldn't it?

The serial # plate said "TEA 386659".

Feel free to ask me other questions if it will help idengtify and date this tractor.

Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the info guys.

I'm not looking to buy this tractor. It is one that is being raffled off and they have it listed as a 1952 but I thought that it didn't sound right. Doesn't really matter I was just curious.

It's a 1954.
It is a 20-85 as they went to 85 mm pistons at serial number 200,000.

No I was in error; they went to 85 mm at serial number 172598. They switched to 12 volts at 200,000.
Either way your tractor is 12 volt and 85 mm.
Jim
