Were the fuel tanks on the Ferguson tractors vented? Or was the cap vented? A friend of mine has a Ferguson, and he has to loosen the cap once in a while to relieve the vacuum. Thanks in advance!

If the tractor is UK produced,(TE/TEA) the Tank Cap has a vent hole in it, it may have got blocked after all this time, just clean it out.

Morning Phil
My TEA-2085 was stalling out a few months back and I took off the gas cap and noticed that the hole oin the fuel cap was plugged. Tooh it off drilled out the hole and now all if fine. Hope this helps,,,,, ,,,,,

On my TO30 the fuel tank is vented through the fuel cap.
