Does anyone have a set (2 or 3) of headlights for the old to 20's-30's? The ones with the big ring that screws into housing to hold bulb/lens?
I don't care that much about condition. My tractor came with these god aweful square plastic things and everytime I use her-I get so disgusted with the lights that I think about them half the day. Or, it anyone knows of a close replacement--I'm fine with that too. Thanks Mark

I got lights for my 51 TO20 at wayne Miller's Tractors in Silverton, Ore. Does any one knoe where to get rear lights?? He told me about some working rear lights that could flip a toggle sw. and make them rear running lights Ever seen or heard of these?? Holding a flashlight going down the road at night is for the birds. I try to get done before the cows come home.

The switch is correct for work lights.
What I do.. I would order/purchase another light to match front two. At any hardware store-you can buy (a whopping 1.50) 3/8 or 1/2 metal off on switch for electrical. Drill the appropriate hole at a convenient location on back of light and thread switch into hole. You can interrupt either wire off element. I prefer the hot as there is usually more wire to work with. You can wire independent of front lights--however I wire with front lights and usually leave toggle "ON" then don't have to think about turning on.
As a side note-in the same section as the switches-you can purchase a corresponding rubber covers to keep whole switch assem. dry.
It is a nice touch to use same light as front I think. Mark

All light housings were identical in original light set except for the toggle switch on the rear(WORK)light.

The rear work light is activated by a toggle switch in the light housing if you have an original. Not sure if Sparex is making them now or not but think they do the front lights. Check their catalog or else it is the salvage yds.

Hi Mark,

I went through the same problems as you in trying to find the correct lights for my TO 30. Ebay is a very good source to find the C.M.Hall lights when they come up cheaply. I found a guy on the Ford site that had a pair and I swapped him for a Ford work light that I bought off ebay. The repro Tract-o-lights look good and you can find fender brackets at the salvage yards. I also put on a late model massy ferguson worklight with a 4 inch buld and my tail light is a ford (it looks similiar to the Taurus light).

Good luck and have fun.

Tom

Mark are you having trouble getting the lights to work correctly or is it that you just don't like the way they look on the tractor

I just like them the old way. The crap I have on work fine--that is the only reason they are still seeing the light of day (no pun intended)
I have a 1955 to 35 with the correct lights incl. worklight. I just think a tractor should be put together like she was intended.
I'm excited about the Sparex datalog.
How do I receive one. I'll check online first.
Thanks fellas.

Mark, if you just looking for good looking lights, but don't particulary care if you get original Ferguson equipment, I recommend you check out Tisco lights at a local dealer or Ebay. I picked up a pair last year on Ebay. Good price. They were grey, but I repainted to match my freshly painted tractor. They look quite good and much cheaper than original equipment. See for yourself.

Nice looking tractor. TO-20 or TO-30? I have the same lights from Tisco for my TO-35. Just haven't put them on yet. They look just like the originals that came on the tractor. The originals were shot.

1- FENA members were mailed one (don't know if they have extras, assuming you join)

2- SPAREX-USA has an online catalogue to see what they offer

3- SPAREX only sells wholesale, so you will need a tractor dealer to get the parts...

Lights come up on e-bay on a fairly regular basis. Also Sparex is comming out with reproductions of the lights this spring.

FYI
