What is the communities opinion on using after market headlights for a Ford 8N on a fully restored Massey Ferguson TO-35?

Yes, the large lights(head and work lights(this light had a switch added)) were the same on all Fergusons in built in USA, e.g 20, 30, 35, and 40. Imported TE series got the same light kit too. The tail lights were different on late model 35s and the 40s.
I don't know what Tisco is selling so can't comment on the originality fit. Sparex has now, they claim in their catalog, the large lights discussed above built like originals. You have to order Sparex stuff thru a dealer.
It would really be a shame in my opinion to put Ford lights on a fully restored TO35. It is not fully restored anymore! Go for the good stuff or what is close as possible. If you want the original lights, salvage yards have them but not in abundance. Have to call around and they are a little pricey, but for a restorer that is part of the game. If you want more details pls email me.

Speaking of Sparex, is there any source of their prices outside of a fergy dealer? There are times where I would like to figure prices ahead of time and not have the dealer quote me on things I'm only a little interested in.
Anyone seen these new repro. 20,30, early 35 lights yet? What a bank account saver these may be. Like I said, though, I haven't seen the prices of these guys yet> Ha Ha

I can't speak for the community, but I have a set from Tisco that are exactly like the origninals that were on my TO-35 when I got it. For all I know they may be exactly like those on the 8N. From what I can see, the headlights on the TO-20, TO-30 and the TO-35 were all the same. If that's not correct, I expect somebody will jump in here and inform us better.
