I have just inherated a couple of Ferguson tractors and I have lost my guiding light. One tractor is needing some help. Like Batt, Running board, maybe tires, but as of 3 years ago it was uaed to mow the pasture. The SN # is 82206 (on the dash board) but that is about all I know about the tractor. A neighbor told me the governor was rusted out and it is not safe to drive. He also offered to buy it for $500.00 but I passed. What have I got, What is it worth, Can I find a governor and how much do they cost.
The other tractor is a diesel with a split gear box but it is at the old home place 150 miles away for now. I'll ask about it latter when I get it to my farm.

Nice hand me downs. Like they said. all of those parts are available and you will have two decent tractors. Don't let them get away.

It appears to be a 1952 TO-30. All necessary parts are available, including governor, foot plates (used). If running 3 years ago, it will run again. Jim

Tim,

Even as a parts tractor a 1952 TO-30 Ferguson is worth $1,000.00.
