I am wanting to put a 2 spool remote valve (the one that mounts under the seat) on my 1970 Ford 4000SU (3 cyl). I need help with a couple of questions:

1. Will a valve from the older x00 and x01 series Fords fit this newer tractor?

2. What would be a reasonable price to pay for this valve?

I thank you for any advice you can offer me.

I have one I am willing to sell, have no idea if it will fit your tractor. Pictures can be found under implement photos under spool valve.

Charles, What you have is a diverter valve that will allow you to use the 3pt or another device but not at the same time.

Bill, I have the one in the picture that I got from a 801 and it fit the '68 2000 perfectly. I gave $250 for it and felt like I got great deal but I wound up with another $150 in fittings, O-Rings and plumbing. I have a great system that doesn't have alot of volume but the 2500 PSI pressure pushes a log splitter through the knots.

Well for some reason the pic did not show up here but it is in the implement photos on this site. I will try again.
