dear stepen,
thank you for your reply to my question regarding paint code for a 64 fordson super dexta.
Unfortunately sparex australia does not deal in paint and could not help me with the part number you kindly provided.
Can you confirm that the colour of my dexta is the same as that of the following years ford tractors ie ford 2000 etc?
if this is the case it will be easy to obtain the correct paint
i appreciate your assistance

Alan, it is thought that all late Fordson tractors (1963 to 1964) where painted in the same blue as the early Ford tractors built up to 1986. The last Fordson tractors where painted in the same blue to match the Ford tractors to give them the same look all over the world. But I was unable to find paint codes which will work worldwide. I found a american PPG-Codes for the wheel orange and tried to order paint, but my local PPG Dealer is unable to cross the american PPG Code. The only chance is to buy the paint by discribtion on a local paint shop or NewHolland dealer. Good luck. And if you like, send me a picture of your blue lady for my Gallery. Take care Stefan
