pulley getting so hot makes the drive belt break
dose anyone how to fix this

I assume you're talking about the engine drive pulley. If so,look to see if the v shape of the pulley looks right. If you've accidently run into something that bent the bottom part of the pulley up that makes a belt tighter than normal and heats things up pretty fast. If the deck pulley is the culprit, be sure your belt is not on the wrong side of the belt guide, especially under the pulley guard where its hard to see.

Note: Check belt adjustments, check for a mower spindle having too much drag on it. ie: check for lubrication of spindle. they don't have grease fittings, so you may have to dis-assemble them to grease them! RJ
