Sounds like either you have an oil control ring gone amuck, or your crankcase breather is bad.

Here is a simple test.

1. Remove the dipstick.
2. Breathe into the dipstick tube - you should be able to breath fairly easily.
3. Now inhale - you shouldn't be able to inhale. If you can, your breather is bad.

Check and make sure you don't have one of your spark plugs fouled. These engine will run fairly well on just one cylinder. The problem is, if a plug is fouled, the governor opens the throttle plate putting more gas into the combustion chambers. The gasoline washes by the piston rings on the dead cylinder diluting the oil and causing oil carry over through the breather. If you are using a pint an hour this would figure out to about an 8 to 1 gas to oil mix which would give constant exhaust smoke as even the real od two strokes ran 16 to 1.

You might check the breather. Usually has a tube that goes to the air cleaner. If not workin correctly it will allow oil to get to air filter
