i'd like to say thanks to all for the advise on my 1811 ignition module, had one person take offense to me using the word nimrod, this person should look the word up in his dictionary. Most of us asking for NOT BEGGING for input are'nt super mechanics that can pull an engine in an hr or maybe don't have the tools. I guess next time won't bother with this site beleive me i don't want anyone thinking that i'm BEGGING. My cub dealer was'nt opened when i needed advise, truthfully he hit the nail on the head when it came to fix'n. Speacial thanks to JT,CHARLES,ANNON and a new friend i met MR. DON WATTS, thanks.

Lester,
Do not let one man? steer you away from here. I have been doing this typwe of work for almost 35 years, I enjoy doing it and as long as someone does not think I owe them an education on small engine repair, I am always willing to help. I may not always be 100% right, but I am not 100% wrongs, so, I feel that is good odds. When you work with something that is mechanical, there is always room for error. I do not know what you do for a living, but as I tell others that ask for help, I feel like I am an expert in the field of work I do, you are an expert in the field you work in, and that my friend is how things should work in this world. So, glad to hear your problems got solved, hope all goes well, stick around, your learning experience just might help someone else some day.
Jim

Lester,
Don't let one guy bother you, they are at every site, it don't take long to show what type person they are. There are some real good, nice people here and would be happy to help if they can. We have all been at the begining stage, he may have forgot his.
David

An excellent site for small engine stuff, usually without the wiseacre commentary, is PERR.com.
