Ladies and Gentlemen of the jury, I need your collective wisdom. Many years ago the starter/gen on my cub went bad so I decide to junk it. Then I heard that there are collectors interested in them so I put on a new starter/gen, new coil, new battery and now I need to know what it is worth. The hood is straight, the mower deck works and it runs nice. The rear tires are like new but mismatched, the front tires are baddly checked. The seat has been cracked and baddly welded. I don't want to gouge anyone but don't want to be cheated too much. Give me your thoughts. Thanks

I see 'em on eBay all the time running for $300-$400 with a mowing deck. Lights adds a little, 3pt adds a little.
I bought a 72 w/ a broken rod last fall for $50. Bought a rebuilt motor for $350 shipped. Better mowing deck (mine's all rotted) for $80. Rebuilt the front PTO clutch, new belts and a new battery. Figure the whole deal is up to $600 now which is probably about what its worth as its ugly...

100-500 bucks, depending on options like lights, fenders, creeper gear, hydraulics, plow, etc.
