I decided to make one of my old Coast to Coasts into a speed machine, as i was bored today, and i was wunderin' how to get 20-30 mph out of it, and I alredy have a plan that I will probably use, but I was thinkin' if anyone out there had any more ideas, i would like to see what ya'll think. I'm running a Briggs 5.5 hp. engine, and just thinkin' away like I was in Math class or sumthin'>

Bigger pulley on engine, smaller on trans. Play with the belts until you find the right length unless you have access to a mechanical standards book which will have the formula for finding the belt lenght base on center distance of the shafts and the pully diameters.
