I wonder if anyone would be kind enough to help me. I have inherited a 1967 Bolens lawn Tractor with tire chains, wheel weights, single stage snow blower, and a mower deck. I also have all of the original manuals and paperwork. All of the above is 100% original. I am also intimately knowledgeable with the history because I inherited the equipment from my father after his death. The tractor has less than 100 hours of use because of my fathers health after the purchase. He kept it in his heated garage and took care of it like it was his baby. He started and let the tractors battery charge about once a month since he purchased it new. He even greased it and changed the engine oil regularly -- God only knows why? I have done some research on the value of the entire package through a local antique engine and tractor club. The values placed upon the package were all over the map. I suspect that some of the people thought that I was born last night; if you know what I mean. I am interested in selling the entire package and I am also interested in it's estimated worth. I have been told that it would be more valuable to a collector because of it's condition. I would appreciate input from anyone who is knowledgeable in Bolens Tractors. I am not interested in making a killing, I am interested in a reasonable value. Thank you for your help in this matter

FYI, I bought a 1969/1970 1053 for $300, with mower and snow-blow. These are heavy tractors with sturdy trans. for there HP. THe market, except for a real collector is to newer machines, or very old or rare. I too say keep it, you or a family member who appreciates machines would like it. IF you are to sell it "at market", advise me as I won"t part it out or use it as a $900, disposible Sears replacment. Nice old, if not real rare machine. PS.- if you use it, Snow-blow not best design as no high-seppd "fan" to kick snow. Tractor itself can easily outlast its mowerdeck, great to pull carts, etc. Enjoy.

i think you should keep it. do you have a son who may want it some day??. i would love to have some of my grampas older tractors before they wore sold.
$6-800 sounds about right. do you have any pics to share?. this sounds like a nice well kept tractor.

It is normal for values to be "all over the map" especially when dealing with Bolens. There were alot of the 1050's made and still quite a few around and aren't really considered a "collectable" tractor by most. Your highest offer will be from someone like you who wants one for sentimential reasons. Probably top value around $600.00 if nice condition and someone really wants it. Worst thing on these is almost all parts are NLA though dealers although used parts not too hard to find yet. I have purchased them decent shape running condition with tiller in addition equipement you have for $200 or less.
