1. on the sears mower i have been working on, everywhere in the manual and on the engine says '3.0 reserve power'. the whole manual never mentions the word horsepower. i am guessing this is the same thing?

2. i got a flywheel puller from autozone. before i pull the flywheel, how will i get it pressed back on? sorry if this is a dumb question but i have never done this before. thanks.

the puller i got is a univeral puller that pulls with 3 arms on the outside edge of the flywheel. yall say that this will break it? where can i get a puller that utilizes the 3 holes? thanks.

Be careful if you use a puller on the outside of the flywheel. They are easy to break. You need a puller that uses the three untapped holes near the center of the flywheel. The right puller will have self-tapping screw to tap the holes.

I did not know AUTO ZONE even had a puller that would pull a flywheel on small air cool engines. My puller for Tec.is a flat piece of steel with 3 slots for screws that pulls from center of flywheel,or a striker that goes over crank and is hit with hammer. You do not want to pull from outside of flywheel unless you are going to replace it.

1.don't know what you are working on
2. the f/w and c/s are on an interferance taper, so when you put the f/w back on and tighten down, it will "lock" itself back to the c/s
