1882 slow hydro and weak

hi need some more help,my 1882 cub is real slow on any grade,have changed fluid,filter,and taken out and cleaned hydro valves as told in my old post butit seems to be geting worse, on the linkage shaft if i adjust it so that it will pull great up and faster on leavel ground then i have nothing in reverse,i have been running it so they both work on forward and rev but she is a bit slow and weak on grades,any more help i do thank you all much,maybe im missing something on adjustment and i have not even touched the plate on side of hydro with the spring but maybe someone can piont me on right directipn,thanks bud

The problem lies within controlling the Hydro Unit. Somewhere in the Linkages or Adjustments. Click on this link and check to see if this applies.....Repair

shift linkage is loose or worn out
i repaired it on a lot of older cubsart

is the shift linkage on the side of hydro with the spring and is it very dificulte to set -adjust after i purchase new,any help i thank you, bud

Belt or shaft drive? If belt drive check the belt. I do not know the model nimbers but CC use to be all shaft drive but MTD can screw anything up.

just wanted to say that it does have plenty of pullin,if i pull something it works just fine ,but is just very slow at doing it,any help i sure do thank you all,if someone can just point me in the right direction just wanting to get it right,thanks,bud
