16's really shake even with new mounts at idle. The trick is to not run them there. The more HP the more it shakes with the Kohler single.

Zach's Machine on E Bay makes and sells solid motor mounts for cubs, I bought a set and you won't be disapointed. Cost me about 20 dollars

I have replaced the iso mounts on three of my quiet lines using the rubber grommets out of auto shock absorbers. They work very well and are very inexpensive compared to the price they want at the cub dealer.

That sounds a little high, it should take less than three hours to do, And last bushing kit I priced was about $40.00 I think, don't know his labor rate, but I would get about $250.00-$300.00 to do it in my shop. If you have run it very long, it may need other things also.

There is a lot of weight flying around in a K-341/16 HP Kohler. That is why it shakes. CC went for the rubber mount instead of the internal balancers. Even with new mount it will shake some. The new mounts will also help the belt tention on the mule rtive to the mower deck if you use the CC to mow with. Kent

Needs new iso mounts. Someone used to make some to put in to make them solid, but have not seen any lately. My 1450 shakes bad, it has bad mounts. Why do you question the dealer, he dworks on them for a living and obviously he has seen this before. Having bad mounts are the same as having an engine not bolted down. You better get them replaced quick or it will eventually break some high dollar parts!

I dont own any quiet lines but I worked on a 1450 yesterday that did the same thing. This is commen ad yes its the iso mounts. You need to fix it soon or you nice cub will suffer from a magor failure. All the single cylinder cubs shake but Ill bet yours is the mounts. My 14hp do it but he 10's and 12's not as bad.
