HI,
I am looking at a 1010 Ideal Corn picker, does anyone have any info on this? Such a what would a good price for one be? How does it work?
I am planning on planting 10-15 acres of corn on a small farm. I have several old tractors to use with it, farmall 140, ford Jubilee, and a ford 841.

Thanks Mike

Never heard of a 1010 Ideal one row corn picker. I have heard of a New Idea #10 one row corn picker, and a New Idea #310 one row corn picker. In my area, a good #10 is worth $250, a good #310 $600. If you truly are looking at a 1010 Ideal, then I don"t know . . . .

IT WILL BE BEST TO HAVE A TRACTOR WITH LIVE POWER TAKEOFF IF POSSIBLE. I HAD A 1 ROW J D AND PULLED IT WITH A 1043 B FOR YEARS BUT THE NEWER TRACTOR I BOUGHT WITH LIVE POWER WAS MUCH BETTER. THE FORDS YOU HAVE WILL PROBABLY PULL THE PICKER AND LOADED WAGON BETTER. GOOD LUCK.
