LOOKING FOR BEST METHOD TO PULL CYLINDER LINERS OUT OF MF 250. TRYED UNIVERSAL LINER PULLER BUT LINER SO THIN IT WOULD NOT GRAB THE EDGE. HAVE BEEN TOLD OF DRY ICE, BUT WOULD RATHER USE TOOL TO PULL

Use perkins sleeve puller. Not as hard as you think if you have the correct tools

[[[[ A WELDER ]]]] make sure crank coverd REAL good or better still remove it. pull a fast arch on the sleave the full length in two spots and they will fall out. perkins are a bitc- to pull pullers will and can dig in to the side wall of the block then you have a junk block. welder trick is the best and i have done 30+ perkins

I did the same job on a AD4203 long time ago; an adapter was machined and each liner was pushed out of the cylinders. New liners were frozen in dry ice before installation, it is much easier that way.

The liners on my 135 were pulled with a hydraulic liner puller (reminded me of a jack). There are some very crude ways of pulling them usually with success
