Thought I might finally check the compression. My guage is the push the rubber grommet tight into the hole model, but there is not enough room to do this so I took of the end fitting and attatched a flexible hose that screws it to the plug whole. Screwed it in oppened the throttle and cranked the engine and the meter read 92 lbs for a nano second then zero then 92 then zero and so on. The rubber grommett and its fitting has the valve in it that keeps the air from leaking out of the dial unit. BC Mike C

Mark ct thats where I screwed up, I removed the pressure valve. There is no place for it with the flexible hose connected. Now I will go and study other units, I may need a new guage. BC Mike C
