In my message I posted last night i went out this morning at 6 to see whta the problem is. gas was just coming fast right out the carb, and my new sediment bowl wont shutoff when i close it. is it normal for these new bowls and the big knob to turn very hard and tight? i pulled the carb, and pulled the new plugs. there was some black crust on the ends where the wire has a bend, and the tip was black. but it's this darn new bowl, that even when i turn it off, there is still a drip, drip, drip coming out of the end of the gas line. and the knob on it is difficult to turn and tight. and it leaks all over. i will get the napa gasket 730-956 today too. i will put new plugs in and see what happens. got to go to the store, but i may need your help if this doesn't work. how do i tighten the head bolts down with a torque wrewnch when the gas tiank and hood are on. they are looser when the engine is hot. i torqued down the ones i could reach but there are a couple interior bolts i cant get a socket head and wrench to reach in there. it has a new coil and cap and things over past three months.
