Adjusting the clutch was a chore!

Had to chase the threads on the rod and in the clevis. Clevis was a pain! What kind of metal is that? What's the lube for threading it? Soluble oil didn't seem to help much. Dry wasn't better.
One of the nuts on the brake pedal did not want to come off. That's cramped working inside the wheel. Just happened to have two new bolts so it went together fine.
No more adjust in the clutch but everything is even, engages, and the clutch pedal isn't flopping around. I like that.
Took two hours and I was cussing and thinking it wasn't worth the effort. But now the left brake comes on when the clutch is depressed. Imagine having brakes on both sides! She stopped good before and now she stops on a dime. Sweeeet.
It was worth the effort.
