A beautiful day in the neighborhood momentarily darkened when I heard a whomp, whomp, whomp from the Woods lawn mower behind the 8N. When I stopped, there in a heap of confetti was my wallet: credit cards, cash, driver license, calling card, SS card, N seriel number list, Camping world President Club, etc, etc.
After a few amen's (RIGHT!)I had to laugh (what else could I do?) it looked so funny laying on the grass.
My wife went to the store and bought me a new wallet. I get to break it in tomorrow at the swap meet in Jones, Michigan @ Boot Hill Ranch.
Anyone here going?

Let me get this straight...If you aren't spending money on the stuff then the stuff will pick your pocket?

Mine comsumes my wallet in the theoretical sense. Thanks for the laugh. Glad you took it so good naturedly. Remember what they say at M.I.T. "Defecation occurs!".

I would not worry too much about it..My brush hog so far has eaten the following:
1. My Topgun hat(from when I worked maintaining the Mig 28's in the movie)The real topgun hat.
2. 1 wallet (all the plastic and licenses were shredded
3. 2 farm equip. hats
4. 2 checkbooks. ( no longer have it in pocket when hoggin'

So, Don't feel bad. It has happened to most of us
Good luck
Tom-Pa

I hope if he got one of those, it's not one with a long chain, could be really dangerous.

back in the 70's my grand father lost his while disking. had about $10,000 or more in cash, had been farming for years and did all his transactions in cash, kept it all on him. had so much because it was in the spring, before all the farming expenses. had to search about 80 acres to find it and then piece all of it back togetherthat we could find!!!!

My grandpa has told me not to have my wallet on me when driving the tractor. I always figured this would keep you from just loosing it while driving. I guess that would work for keeping it out of mowers too!

Just had to laugh when reading this one!

Well I guess that's one way to spread your money around!

My tractor must be way smarter than yours because it can take alot of my money and it doesn't even run!

I could see trying this one on a cop! "Liscense and registration please." "Well officer, my tractor ate it!"

Have fun at the swap meet!
Ken
