Bought an 8n with a tank that leaks between where the top & bottom parts of the tank is welded together. It only leaks on one corner or side. Is there anything on the market that can be poured into the tank as a sealer? Or if any other ideas, please don't hesitate to write.

Por-15 and Eastwood's equivalent are both good products that coat the inside of your tank and will seal against small leaks. They come with a system of clean up products that you use to remove rust etc before you coat the tank's insides and eliminating further trouble.
I would do both the inside coating and some epoxy on the out side as avoiding a fire is a high priority.

There is an epozy type patching material that you can buy at any automotive parts house. It looks like a Tootsie Roll tube with a different color in the middle. You just break off the amount you need and then kneed the stuff in your fingers until it is all one color and after making sure that the gas is below the place you need to patch, clean the area around the patch point with something like sand paper or steel wool, wipe down with lacqure thinner to remove any oily residue, then press the patch material into the hole and all around the hole and allow it about 24 hours to cure. I have used this stuff on everything from steel to plastic tanks and it works. Just be sure that it is fimly stuck to the part you are wanting to patch.

Buy a new tank! It is not worth the chance of a fire. The tank sets over the engine. I bought a 8N that had a fire $200 Owner tried to repair the gas tank result fire cost me 1200 to repair Don't take a chance on a fire
