Is $2,100 for a 1950 8N a good Deal? It has new paint job, in above average shape and runs great.

Really depends on alot of things, as you have the $8000 - $10000 N complete style reman tractors then you have the 8N giveaway units as described by the recently fortunate Steve Bastardi!

Average 8N around here is $2500, Decent runner but needs some minor fixing. Options tend to have a big influence. Does it have fresh engine? Clutch?Headlamps? sherman? Drawbar setup? How nice is the paint, body shop quality or rattle can on a dusty day? Is the sheetmetal straight and not rusted? Script Fenders? Side distributor? (both of which appeared in 1950, I think) How's the rubber? Original guages or proofmeter?

Look at the "tractor vaules on the side of this board or Post some more details about this tractor.

If you don't want it, tell me where it is and I will consider it. They go for 3500.00 for a good one in Utah. Your typical used that is in need of lots of repairs, but runs ok goes for 2000-2500.
This gives you an idea.

I would say it depends on the rubber if everything else is tight. Got my 8N for $1800 but I need new rears. Also, there will be stuff wrong you can bet if you want it to run like a top. Figure in a little repair $ to the total.
