If you hook up a trailer such as a pickup box type utility or any single axle trailer, be careful not to sit on the tailgate - unless you want an amusment park type ride to the ground! grin

On the other hand, it can be handy to half way 'dump' whatever you are hauling. I 'dump' my utility trailer to make unloading brush easier. Then it goes through the chipper.

I made mine out of the same type 'ball mount' but used angle iron and flat iron instead of pipe. All bolted to the 11 hole drawbar.

I went with the receiver style and switch back and forth between a ball and drawbar style.

It's hard to see in the pic but it's simply bolted to the drawbar.
