Greetings all, Just a note about this new project. I got it started this weekend and it ran like new. I by-passed the 6 volt system and used a 12 volt coil and battery. Charged it by jumping from a work truck for a little bit and took right off. I did rebuild the carb this morning just for luck. It does have a knock (or rattle) after it warms up. Does that sound like a valve or a piston? I'm going to convert to 12 for the extra power and the convience. Still havn't broke the clutch loose yet. I will check the archives for ideas. thanks for all the help. Rob

Don't know about the knock but I have had the best luck unsticking clutches by blocking them released for a few days and periodically hitting them with the starter when in top gear. Pull the coil wire so it don't start and run off on you!
