Kitty the big black horse made it to Ottawa on Sunday. On her first day on the job she got two weeks off for Christmas. I bet she thinks these government jobs are great. She gets four meals a day and brushed three times a day. She will get a new saddle and tack custom made for her, which she needs anyway as she is pretty big and has high withers. All the other horses have black leather halters and we shipped her with a sycodelic purple halter with white fuzzy pieces. BC Mike C

Hi Mike, glad to hear Kitty has arrived safely in Ottawa. Have been following your story. We do become quite attached to our animal friends. I will keep in mind to watch for Kitty the next time we view the R.C.M.P. with their beautiful horses.
Murray on the east coast in N.S. Cheers.

Murray thanks for your reply. Kitty is really sweet, she is not overly pretty, just big and sweet. My wife misses her a lot. If she had of got there sooner she probably would have helped pull one of the funeral carraiges for Ray Hnatyshyn and been on TV. Her eyes run because of the location of her tear ducts and she looks like she is crying. I have this idea that one day at a funeral someone will notice this. They may not run as much though in the more humid weather out there. Are you near Halifax, I know someone with a boat there. BC Mike C
