Enamel, Lacquer, or Poly?? What do you all really recommend. Tractor will be sandblased complete. Also, what primer goes with your recommendation. Bringing the 48 back to orig colors. Thanks

Sure appreciate the comments re: my question on the proper Paint and Process. Keep any other comments coming my way. I'm quite excited about the project and need all the opinions I can get.
Sounds like Ayc Enamel may be best for me. While it will not be a show tractor...it certainly will be seen a lot. I have quite a bit of body work to do on the hood nose and dog-legs. Any Body-work suggestions out there?????

1 reccomendation I would offer, is to use gray primer under the gray parts, and red oxide under the belly parts.

Hi,

You might check one of the "vendors" that sponsor this program On the left of the screen, there is a listing for paint codes.

RECOMMENDATION: I recommend that you consider signing your "work" after the project is completed.

I just had some painting and architectural students working on part of an office wall. As their supervisor, I made this recommendation. Well, the last 2 female, only students left in the course, had to decide if "they wanted to". Well, I said, I will not accept your work until you put "your LOGO", somewhere in the work. No problem for the drapery person. She decided to use her family MASCOT as her LOGO. Well, the painting students are returning today, to finish their work. GOOD, They keep bringing PECAN PIES.

Hope this helps.

PS: The drapery lady gits a R. for her work! In this case the "R" will stand for 'registered".
