I know the feeling, I pulled my old 8N out of the field that had been setting there for a while. I recently sold an old Oliver 66 that I had . I started eyeing the 8N. I loaded on the trailor and hauled it to my shop. I have really been asking a lot of questions on this chat line and everyone has been real helpful. I have a John Deere 5400 with a front end loader if I really need to do anything serious. But I have enjoyed tearing the 8N apart and seeing what makes it tick. Hopefully between by manual that is on its way and everyones help here I can get it back together. I am a school supt. here in central Texas and this is good way to get away from it all. Hopefully I will get it restored and running good.Maybe someday after I am gone one of my boys will look over at the old 8N in the field and decide to tune it up.
