I looked the tractor over real good
then offered the gentleman $150 for it.
He accepted so now I have got to find a way
to haul it home. May have to hire a wreaker
to get it there, but still should be worth
the money. Don't know if I can restore to working tractor but would like to try. It
will depend on the condition of the motor.
Will keep you posted about "her" status.

See, Sometimes it don't hurt to ask. Congradulations!
I hope the man I am talking with about a 53 Jubilee, in need of alot of help, will be as easy.

I USED A FLAT BED WRECKER TO BRING MINE OUT. THE SAFEST WAY I BELIEVE TO HAVE IT DONE. THEY HAVE A WINCH ON BOARD AND ALL THEY HAVE TO DO IS BACK UP TO IT. HOPEFULLY BY THE TIME THEY GET IT UO ON FLAT BED THE TIRES HAVE BROKE LOOSE ENOUGH TO GET IT OFF. IF NOT FIND A TREE TO TIE ON TO.

Avery - a flatbed trailer, some chains, and a come-along will take care of your transport problem pretty quick. Maybe you know someone with those things who can help you out.

Congratulations on a heckuva deal. I hope you find that the tractor is restorable.

Haul it? Cripes, for a hundred and fifty bucks I'd dismantle it and carry it home!

I don't know the complete condition, but if nothing else you stole yourself one heck of a parts tractor. Post some pictures and the experts here can give you a real good idea what you've got.

Atta Boy!
