We went from chilly to hot no time flat, over 30c. The resevoir is down, the wells are drying up, the ground water table is at record lows and we do not have any ground seepage and the creek looks like it will not run. My drainage ditches are dry. Our secret spring is providing a little water but not much. So maybe this is the year I can put in some drain rock and big O and use Herb the 9N to move the drain rock from the pile to the ditch and later drag some fill in. The beurocrats haven't started talking about puting a plug in the water works going south to WA but I bet it comes up. You hot and dry down there Mark? BC Mike C

Sounds like a good deal Fast Ed. If we don't get some rain we are gonna have a forest fire problem this year to go with water restrictions. We are in the orchard area where 96% of the water goes on the ground. Trouble for us is that it is chlorinated and we can't use it on the blueberries so we have to rely on the spring fed pond. Have fun in the mud, our 9N swims in it real good. BC Mike C

Mike, I hope your situation improves ,I was able to plant 5 rows of " Silver Queen " sweet corn before the rains started ( 1 1/2 imches ) My neighbor came down ( with a long face) Ed I got my JD stuck in the mud for the second time and I cant get it out, I used my 4x4 chevy to pull him out with a 40 ft chain, I almost got stuck, My next plan would have been 8n with tire chains to pull us both out .
