A couple of weeks ago I got some new rear tires. Like a fool, I put one of them in the center backwards. I have run it this way out of laziness for about 5-10 hours. Is this bad? By backwards I mean the direction of the tread. If this is bad, please let me know so I can hurry up and fix it, or just leave well enough alone.
Thanks again! ----Rob

Tractor tires are directional, but you are doing no damage by running them backwards. You are losing traction. You may notice a directional arrow on the tire, and if a tire is used to drive a machine, such as a ground driven grain drill, etc., they are normally put on backwards. If used as a tractor tire, the arrow indicates 'traction' use.

Rob , you kinda want even traction on both rear tires at the same time, no big deal, switch them so there the same when you get time .

Rob, Tractor tires are derectional. All you done is sacraficed 1/2 your forward bite. On the other hand I know a guy that mounts his tires that way a purpose. Says it helps him get in and out of his cow lot better. No it won't hurt any thing, you now have as much traction in reverse as you do forward. John
