Reading a few post down about using bees wax (I think) to free frozen bolts. This is sometinig new to me, gimme the scoop.

John..... ...use real beeswax from saddle leather harness shop or wifes sewing notions store. Canning wax don't do it.

Heat your stubborn bolt/nut, then melt the beeswax against your hot nuts. Capillary action will suck the hot melted wax down into the joint. Beeswax doesn't evaporate like some of the other panther p*ss does. Besides busting the rust, the wax acts as lubricant when removing..... ...Dell

I used it to loosen a stud from the front wheel hub on my 2N. I heated the stud with a propane torch, then rubbed a beeswax candle on it. After repeating this 4 times, I was able to drive out the stud.
