I saw a Jubilee with a front snowplow. It had hydraulic hoses going back to the "top plate" of the 3 point hydraulics, and a litle control mechanism under the seat. The whole assembly bolted to the front and rear of the oil pan (or at least that's the way it looked at a quick glance) One of the back tires was completly shot, and the rest of the tractor looked weathered, but was still six volt. I am thinking that the whole thing would be worth about 4 grand. What do you guys think? Heck, I'd love to have it just for the front snow plow!! I think I am gonna stop by tomorrow and ask the guy what he wants for it. Thanks in advance for ya'lls coments and feedback.

I have a front blade, nice piece, paid $375 CAN. The most I have paid for a JUB. is $2500 CAN. The last JUB. I bought (Mar. 2003) was $2300 CAN. very straight tin, older paint, orig. lights, average tires ( one front lasted 15 min), Sherman O/U aux. trans., Wagner WM4 loader very straight with front pump works good, good oil pres., strong motor, recent tune up, after market draw bar. My neighbor has a jubilee for sale with a mower for 2500 canadian dollars. It smokes a little but otherwise in good shape.

I paid 3000 for my 54 Jub with front blade 3 years ago. Good rubber - only thing I've done to it was rebuild the head.

Rob, I don't know where you are in VA, but here in Hanover Co $4k for a Jubilee would buy you a pristine/everything rebuilt tractor. Granted, the blade adds some value, but the basic tractor doesn't sound like it would be worth much more than $3k. I looked at a Jubilee 2 months ago w/ an excellent motor, 12v, lots of new parts, older repaint job and questionable hydraulics; asking price was $4k and I didn't even make him an offer. If the hydraulics were ok, I would have offered $3500.

moneypit? maybe but fixerupper i think.. I'm the proud owner of a 6 volt jubilee ,usually unless i'm fixing a tire or having the radiator recored or rebuilding the carb or repainting rims, etc but i love that old tractor that i purchased when i was in 8th grade (i'll be 56 next month) for $800.. Price today??? but the tractor your looking at sounds like your going to spend some money getting her up & working good, maybe your like me and say its money well spent.. ps its bolted to some major supports under there not the oilpan (i hope)

I had a 601 Workmaster with front loader, low hours, new paint, near new tires, A 1 shape sold it for $ 3900 back in 96, . $ 4000 is way to much for a tractor like that. It could have a bad engine or pump ,Ever hear of a money pit or Dollar eater ? I think your looking at one.

Sounds like a $2500 tractor to me....tops. I don't know what to add for the front blade setup, but less than the number you're thinking. Of course, prices in your area could be different than around here.

I'd ask him first what he's asking. Maybe he'll say $3000. Then you counter with $2200 and see where you end up.
