I hate to ask this question here, but I know someone will know the answer. I was watching RFD tv today. They had that show "Machinery of the Past" on. There was a 1922 Case that I need help identifying. I can't for the life of me remember what model it was, or for sure that it was a 1922. I remember that it was a huge tractor, with 7 foot steel wheels and a magneto, and the guy had to run it outta gas to kill the engine, cause he said otherwise it would flood the manifold. If any of you know what I am talking about, or saw the show and can help me out, I'd really appreciate it. I am trying to find a picture of it and some specs to show a fellow tractor-nut. So far no luck. Thanks for any help guys!!!----- Rob

Try taking a look at the pictures posted on the Case site and in the search box type "40-72".
Is this it? Awesome! Lee

I know the show and machine you are talking about, unfortunately, I don't remember the model or year. That was the one that starts on gasoline and then is switched to kerosene. It looked like a steam engine because of the barrel shaped engine cowl. It had two cooling fans on each side and a big flywheel on the side. That guy got the thing started on the second pull.
