I need to ask an off topic question, because you guys here probably know the answer. I need a turn signal switch for my 76 Dodge D100 pick-up. Does anyone know where I can find such a thing? So far, I have had no luck anywhere. Are these trucks rare, because I almost always have trouble finding parts for it. Thanks again for your help!!---Rob

If it's a farm truck and not a collector's item, why not swap it out to a turnsignal/hazard flasher assembly from an old highway tractor from a junkyard. Most of them were a clamp on thing that clamped around the steering column. You can still buy them from Grote and the like. I have one in my shop, but it's going on my own old farm truck.....LOL!

Grey line auto parts on Hull Street in Richmond is good at stocking or getting it quick parts for older vehicles. Assuming they are still in busisness.

You can do a web search and access Advance Auto Parts. We purchased an EGR valve from Advance for a 1974 Plymouth Trailduster. (Dodge Ramcharger with Plymouth name on it). We tried the parts supply houses locally and they were unable to help. We ordered the part and received it by mail. They even have a ignition switch set for a 1957 Ford car. They would sure be worth a try for your Dodge pick-up.

Rob, does the truck have farm use tags? If so, I'm 100% sure you do not need a county decal, and 95% sure it does not need a state inspection sticker either. Of course, if in the 5% chance I'm wrong, and you get a ticket, telling them I said it was ok won't work! I'm sure the nearest VSP District Office or your county Sheriff can answer the question. What county are you in? Of course, if you want to get the turn signals repaired because it's safer to operate....I'm not being very helpful!

Rob, this place sure isn't nearby to you, but they seem to ALWAYS have turn signal repair kits in stock. Got one for my 67 F100 2 years ago & it still works like a champ. Can't find a website for them, though.
