By the way, I forgot to mention that the other day after we replaced the sooted up spark plugs, the old girl was still sputterin like crazy, then we took off a sprak plug wire, no change. We then took off another spark plug wire and it worsened the sputterin by just a bit....runnin on two cylinders. I guess the question is do most of you still think it is a carb problem. Or do I go ahead and order new electical components ie. condensor, points, rotor and cap...

Just for Giggles....swap those two plug wires and report back. I consider myself farly competent, and yet I messed up the firing order on an old Massey once. Amazing how well they run on two cylinders with the other two crossed.

Take Care

Rob, is it possible if the distributor was pulled that you may be 180 degrees off when it was put back in?
