Just wanted to clarify that there are 2 "Robs" in Virginia. There is me: Rob N VA, and Rob in Va

I have only had my 1950 8n for about a year now, and hve been on the board for about as long. I have learned a lot in that year, and am sincerly grateful for all the help. I don't know much about the other gentleman (hey, where you from anyway? I live right outside Charlottesville in Scottsville) but I would like to figure out a way to make the distinction, so answers to our posts don't get mixed up. Thanks!--Rob

Hi Rob,

I have a Jubilee and currently live in Winchester, but I lived in North Garden for quite a while. I consider Albermarle County God's Country and going back always feels like going home.

I had been wondering where you were. I thought that you might have been closer. Nice to meet ya!

Hi Ron N VA,

I have owned my 49 8N for over 26 years. I have known about this forum for about 4 years now (when I finally got a home PC and Internet).

Had this forum been available to me for the first several years I owned my 8N, it would, no doubt, have saved me a lot time and a lot grief in troubleshooting and repairing my tractor. So, you are correct in that this forum is great for technical advice and info.

Secondly, although I have never met any of the regulars on this forum in person (to my knowledge), they seem, to me at least, to be great individuals who like old Ford N tractors and who like helping others keep theirs operating.

Also, this forum is rather fun and entertaining.

Best regards,

Rick H. Ga.
