Would someone please tell me of the length of the fender bracket bolts that go through the axle housing. My tractor is out in the bush now so I can't get a measurement and I would like to take the right length out there. The tractor has a Superior loader already on it and I will be adding aftermarket stablizer bars on so I'll need to add some length on to stock. Thanks !!!

I would like to thank you all for your comments. I will try to get 7" bolts, but will also bring some 5/8" threaded rod along also. This is a 1940 9N working tractor so OEM is not required. Thanks Again.

Hey Kid-
You need to grab four 7" 5/8-11 carriage bolts or hex heads depending of your year of N-Series tractor. Early ones used hexes thru first 8N's. Buy extra long because you said you are adding stabilizer bar brackets. You will not find original fine thread carriage bolts as they do not make them anymore. HTH

the parts manual lists it as 5/8-18 x 6.12 carriage bolt.
