I went to a tractor pull in Madison Virginia today. It was advertised as being an antique tractor pull, but it was all classes (BUMMER).
My wife and I drove an hour to the thing and not a single N series. Mostly Green things. There was an impressive international turbo diesel that did a full pull. I think that thing ate N's for dinner and spit out spark plugs. Can someone please tell me what the practical application for a tractor that powerful might be? I am pretty sure it was stock. Did anyone else make the show? ----Rob N VA

If you go to south dakota the vastness of the area will make the hugest tractor look like an ant! Some of the excavators in this area are now using huge farm tractors with tracks, to pull pans, which are used to move large amounts of earth. The problem with massive equipment and automation is it always seems to cut the need for employment oppurtunities for human beings. And the rich get richer?

Just a line missing - "and the poor get poorer!" Can't believe all the people that can't stay away from the biggies and drive the mom & pop stores out of business, then complain that they don't get service like they use to.
