To make the tach work right, we put a 4 inch pulley on our Delco Alternator. It is the old cable rear drive. Until I put this 4 inch pulley on I had a 3 inch -double pulley For 2 belts. Do you have a source for a 4 inch double pulley?? It is working ok with a single belt but I have to keep the belt tight or the 7 blade fan slips the belt. This is an Allis-chalmers 200. I know this is the Ford sight but this is where I hang out most of the time. Thank you, Barrett Jones

I found a 4 3/8" pulley from a combine using a niehoff alt. the pulley is for 5/8 belts, a smaller belt might ride lower and get you just what you need. Dual pulley, about 1/2" from fan to first pulley. the front pulley might need a little 'attention' due to prior shipping. Email me your address. I'll send it to you

I forgot to add that it uses 1/2 inch wide belts. Barrett Jones

are the pulleys right up against the fan, or is there space from the fan to the first pulley?

Let me know

Jim

Thank you Jim for responding so quickly. There is a space maybe 1/2 inch or so. They are not up against the fan. Barrett Jones
