Do I need to replace the hub on my 49 8N if my seals are leaking? However both wheels wobble, they are loose and leaking. One wheel the nut is welded on so I know I need at least one axel, are they both the same (left and right)where can I get the axel nut? I don't see them on the site.
Thanks in advance

Hi Bill! I just replaced my rear seals on my 49 n.
I thought I had the same thing but what the previous brainyack did was weld a spacer washer on because he left the nuts loose and wore out the hubs. so you might get lucky and not have to replace the axles. hope this helps. Duane

If you torque the wheel nuts to the 450 ft-lbs and the wheels still wobble, you probably need a new bearing and hub. Those items are not too expensive -- just hope you don't have to buy and axle.
