I just did this, here's how it worked for me ... I set my flywheel (engine side up) on my deep fry cooker (metal bucket will do) and used my torch and the rosebud tip, heated the ring gear til it started to change color, then tapped around it lightly, it fell right off. I let the flywheel cool, then took my angle grinder wire wheel and cleaned it up around the edges where the new ring goes, then put it in the freezer for a few hours. When it was nicely chilled, I put the new ring gear in the oven at 500 degrees until the oven cycled off. I got the flywheel outta the freezer and put it back on the cooker/metal bucket (engine side down this time), and got the hot ring from the oven and laid in on the frozen flywheel. It fell right into place, the heat expanded and thawed the flywheel and it firmed right up while I kept an eye on it to make sure it stayed in place. Worked like a charm and easy. If you don't have a torch, drill and bust off the old ring and take it from there. Good luck, Ramrod
