Greenie..... ..yes, the N-Tractor came from the factory with 3-filters. One in the elbow of the carb. One ontop of the glass bowl under the gastank. One hidden up-inside the gastank. Its a coarse screen non-replaceable cylinderical screen that "melts". Its supposed to stop the big chunks before they gitt sucked into the 2-level feedpipe. (which is how you get a 1-gallon reserve when you open your fuel valve past 2-turns. ALWAYS TURN-OFF you fuel valve when you are thru for the day so the gravity feed doesn't FLOOD your carb..... ....Dell

There can be a total of 3 - one in the fuel shutoff assembly, one in the fuel line and one in the elbow from the fuel line to the carb. The original N fuel line was metal and did not have an in-line filter. Some people replace that fuel line with a flexible one ahd put an in-line filter in it.

Not exactly "filters"....actually they are "screens"...perfectly adequate for a gravity-feed system.
