I would like to know if the "Ford" raised lettering on the fenders and hood are suppose to be painted, or decales?

A trick I learned when working in a shipyard in Japan was to roll up a scrap cotton rag and tie it off with string so you a tight roll. Then dab the end into your paint and remove excess paint by dabbing it on a piece of paper or scrap wood. Us this on your stencile. It will give you a sharper edge than a stencile brush and the price is right.

They can be whatever you want.. but oem were painted. Some use an ink roller style.. or a paint mask then roll or spray.. still others use the decals. I had bad luck with a couple different maskes.. they either leaked or left an ugly line where the paint pulled up. The decals just don't stick well, and peel off.

Many of us bite the bullet and get a small artists brush or q-tip if you are on the cheap side.. and then just sit there till you're knees ache, and you have painted 2 hood and 2 fender scripts...
