Finally, I've been working on this thing for 2 years now and hope to be having it running before long. It looks like there is some sort of gearbox attached to the LH inspection cover. I"m sure that open driveshaft under your left foot is OSHA approved!

Dell, Thanks for the comments, It's a 52 model an has a 37 V8 60 tin side in it. When I started this project I actually talked to Delbert who done the first conversions back in the 50"s. He told me to contact his cousin in S. Dakota who was making the kits for the 60"S. I did and i ended up buying the adapter from him, i think it's kind of neat as it is 3/4 thick, but the motor is recessed back inside it 3/8 of an inch. he was out of the frame's at the time so I just build my own. I have had a lot of fun doing this project and a few problems, mainly because I'm so fussy. There has been a lot of people on this board who have help alot, and it's people like myself who really appreciate there help. Happy Holidays to all of you and your families. Donn

What else? This use to be the wifes shop and she gave it to me a couple of years ago. It has a 600 another 8n that I'm rebuilding, a 9n and a 47 2n in there also with a lot of stuff piled around. hope to have this going by spring.
